Whether you are 8 or 80 years old, fit as a fiddle or snuggled in a stroller...
The Corporation of the District of Peachland wants to challenge you to take a step. In fact, we want you to take 2000 steps! We will even provide you with your own pedometer to make it fun and easy. Peachland is proud to be a participant in "Steps Out". What is "Peachland Steps Out"? Peachland Steps Out is a walking/pedometer program with a focus on physical activity and healthy living. This initiative is led by the dedicated staff of the Peachland Community Centre. Join the team as we inspire, assess and empower you to take positive steps to better health and wellness. We will monitor your progress and give you helpful advice on healthy living and eating choices. Meet new people, get active and win prizes! Why do I see Penticton's Steps Out on the map? The Steps Out program originated in Penticton two years ago. We are now one of their little sisters. We are partnering with Penticton, Osoyoos, Summerland, Westbank, Lake Country and Vernon to bring our communities both similar and unique community Steps Out opportunities.
