Airways. The flight departs from Kelowna up until April 16th, 2006, and then from Vancouver.
HOW DO I ENTER THE DRAW FOR THE GRAND PRIZE?
Everyone registered for Penticton Steps Out is automatically entered. Anyone who has logged in their steps between September 26th, 2005 to March 29th, 2006 - you will automatically be entered into the contest. One entry per participant.
DO I HAVE TO WALK TO HAWAII TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN?
No, everyone has the opportunity to win - but we encourage you to keep walking and track your steps to see how long it would take to you get to Hawaii - that is the whole fun of the contest.
WHEN DOES THE CONTEST START?
The Walk to Hawaii contest was launched on December 9, 2005.
WHEN DOES THE CONTEST END?
The cut off date for the Hawaii contest is noon on March 29, 2006.
WHEN WILL THE DRAW FOR THE WINNER BE MADE?
The draw date is March 29, 2006. Should someone under 19 be selected as the winner, their Parent or Guardian can accept the prize.
WHY DID YOU PICK THAT PARTICULAR ROUTE TO HAWAII? ISN'T THERE A SHORTER WAY?
There are many options when planning a travel route from Penticton to Hawaii. This route was arbitrarily chosen to include some interesting towns along the way and a trip by Microsoft in Redmond. Please remember that all distances and roads listed are only approximate representations and should not be used for travel.
